Alfredo Pedulla expects that Torino could sell midfielder Ivan Ilic to fund a move for Inter Milan’s Kristjan Asllani.
The SportItalia transfer market expert detailed the Granata’s efforts to sign Asllani in a video on his YouTube channel.
Torino are the latest team to enter the race to sign Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani.
La Liga side Real Betis have reportedly already made an offer for the 23-year-old. However, he prefers to stay in Serie A.
Meanwhile, the likes of Bologna and Fiorentina are reportedly eyeing up a deal for Asllani.
And then, Bournemouth could present the Albanian international with a chance to move to the Premier League.
But now, there is another possible landing spot in the Italian top flight. This could certainly suit Asllani’s desire not to leave the league.
However, the finances of the deal could be tricky, with Inter reportedly placing a price tag of €18 million on Asllani.
SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla commented that “we’ll see what Inter do with Asllani if Torino sells Ilic.”
He explained that Ilic “isn’t unsellable any more, he hasn’t convinced Baroni.”
“And to to finance a deal for Asllani, the prime suspect would be Ilic,” Pedulla continued. “He’s had offers in the past, although they may be lower now.”
He then noted that “apart form Torino, Bologna are also pursuing Asllani.”
“But Inter can’t let him go for a cut price fee.”
