While Simone Inzaghi is trying to decide his future at Inter, brother Pippo Inzaghi is facing a similar dilemma between Pisa and Palermo.
Pippo Inzaghi took Pisa to promotion from Serie B this season, finishing as runners-up to Fabio Grosso’s Sassuolo in the table thanks to 23 victories, seven draws and eight defeats.
However, he might not necessarily remain on their bench for next term in the top flight, as he seems inclined to walk away for a new experience.
That could still be in Serie B, as Palermo are increasingly pushing to secure the former Milan coach.
The 51-year-old started his management career with the Rossoneri in 2014-15, then moved on to Venezia, Bologna, Benevento, Brescia, Reggina and Salernitana, before taking over at Pisa last summer.
Palermo had hoped to earn promotion too this season, but they were beaten by Juve Stabia in the play-offs after finishing in eighth place overall.
