Everton and West Ham United fa ce off tonight, Tuesday, July 30, in one of the big games of the Premier League Summer Series. Kick off is 6: 30 p.m. ET at Soldier Field in Chicago, as both teams continue their US tour.
If you're in the States, there is only one opportunity to watch li ve (the game is not on traditional TV like NBC or USA Network), and that is Peacock, NBC's streaming service.
You'll need a Peacock Premium subscription to stream the game, and there is no pre-game show. The stream should be on all devices, from smart TVs to phones. If you're not subscribed to any of those services, you can check streaming bundles like Hulu + Live TV, fuboTV, or DIRECTV Stream, but free trials vary by availability and access.
This summer series is a rare chance for US fans to see Premier League teams in action live. Along with Everton and West Ham, Bournemouth and Manchester United are also participating, with games in Atlanta, Philadelphia and tonight in Chicago.
West Ham, under Graham Potter, are looking to build momentum for the new season. After being beaten 2–1 by Manchester United on the opening night of the Summer Series, Potter's side are looking for redemption. They lost the opening match regardless of the individual performances of Jarrod Bowen and multiple other players, and they will be looking to bounce back this evening on U.S. soil.
Everton come in to the contest hungry for another positive result, following their 3–0 defeat on Bournemouth in the opening game of the tournament. Their manager, David Moyes, has spoken of the slow transfer market in the summer and the need to strengthen before the Premier League season kicks off, in his first week back at Everton.
While it’s not a Premier League points game, it’s a big part of both teams’ preseason and with a packed stadium and fans streaming around the world, it’ll have the atmosphere of something more than just a friendly.
