Links between Manchester United and RB Leipzig continue to strengthen over recent years, as The Red Devils continue to look to the German giants.
Leipzig’s former head of recruitment, Christopher Vivell, has joined the Old Trafford set-up, with Benjamin Sesko having moved between the two clubs for £73.7 million last summer.
Heading into the summer transfer window, with United looking to sign a left-winger, three midfielders and a left-back, The Red Devils have once more turned to Leipzig, this time for Yan Diomande.
While Liverpool have been looking to the winger as a successor for Mohamed Salah, United have also been hoping to sign the talented winger who’s been lighting up the Bundesliga.
However, another RB Leipzig winger has now found themselves on United’s radar, and this time for Marc Skinner’s women’s team.
The Guru has taken to X to report that United are now looking at Lisa Baum, joining the race for her alongside London City Lionesses, Bayern Munich, Lyon, Barcelona and Arsenal.
The 19-year-old is clearly impressing across the board, and no surprise given her recent season, her first in the top flight.
Since her arrival from Hamberger SV in July 2025, she’s made 15 stars in the Frauen-Bundesliga, grabbing three goals across her 1442 minutes on the pitch.
Lisa Baum isn’t only proving herself for her club however, but internationally too, playing for the Germany Under-23s, despite being only 19.
A natural inverted-winger, Baum routinely cuts in from the right, using her favoured left-foot, however as such, can also be used across the left-wing if needed, bringing versatility to her game.
For now, United have a hard battle ahead of them if they hope to sign her, given the number of interested parties.
