Report – AC Milan & Inter ‘Anxious’ As Monday Becomes ‘The Day’ In San Siro Saga

AC Milan and Inter keep a close eye on developments as we approach the decisive day in a long-running San Siro saga. 

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, Monday could be the day the Milan City Council decide on the sale of the stadium and the surrounding areas.

With the highly awaited decision around the corner, both clubs are anxious heading into the weekend.

Indeed, Beppe Marotta has already opened up the possibility of building a new stadium away from the San Siro district.

Meanwhile, Milan mayor Beppe Sala yesterday confirmed such a prospect.

Thursday will mark the beginning of discussions between the councilors, followed by a weekend of detailed evaluations.

However, Monday will be ‘The Day,’ with the Council’s final verdict expected to arrive around 4:30 pm.

Meanwhile, the clubs are waiting for the decision with bated breath.

Indeed, their purchase proposal expires next Tuesday, making the day before a ‘make or break’ moment for the Serie A giants.
