Bologna hope to sign Inter Milan teenager Francesco Pio Esposito using the same formula that took Giovanni Fabbian to Renato Dall’Ara.

Per Corriere Bologna via FCInter1908, Vincenzo Italiano’s charges have identified the 19-year-old as a genuine transfer target.

Francesco Pio Esposito enjoyed a sterling breakout season in Serie B with Spezia.

Despite the Ligurian side’s busted promotion race, the Inter homegrown starlet made a name for himself in Italian football.

Indeed, only Sassuolo’s Armand Lauriente eclipsed Esposito’s 17-goal haul in the second tier this season.

Therefore, numerous sides have queued to take him away from Inter.

Giovanni Fabbian joined Bologna from Inter in the summer of 2023, penning a multi-year contract in Emilia-Romagna.
