Report – Bologna Weighing Up Summer Swoops For Inter Milan Rising Star & Ex Nerazzurri Ace To Reinforce Attack

Bologna line up summer deals for Inter Milan teen sensation Francesco Pio Esposito and veteran ace Edin Dzeko.

Per Corriere Bologna via FCInterNews, the Coppa Italia winners are keen to add to their attacking options this summer.

Rossoblu sporting director Giovanni Sartori is a long-term admirer of Francesco Pio Esposito.

Indeed, he has often watched the 19-year-old live during his remarkable loan stint at Spezia this season.

However, Bologna may need to beat stiff competition from Lazio, Parma, and Genoa to sign the talented striker.

Meanwhile, they could use the Giovanni Fabbian situation to their advantage.

Bologna Target Inter Milan Starlet Francesco Pio Esposito & Veteran Star Edin Dzeko

Inter can re-sign Fabbian for a reported fee of €12 million. Furthermore, they’re keeping close tabs on Santiago Castro.

As such, Bologna may have several bargaining chips at their disposal to sweeten a potential deal.

Esposito would be a long-term solution for Vincenzo Italiano’s side.

Yet, they’re also thinking short-term.

Former Inter striker Edin Dzeko has, therefore, emerged as a target.

Dzeko’s deal at Fenerbahce ran out on June 1, meaning Bologna can sign the 38-year-old on a free transfer.
