Carlos Augusto Pulls Out Of Inter Squad For Friendly Vs Olympiacos

Chivu had already been missing Davide Frattesi due to injury. The 25-year-old is still recovering from abdominal surgery, and won’t be back in full training for a few more days.

Meanwhile, defender Tomas Palacios is also not part of Inter’s squad for today’s match. That is because the Argentine is expected to leave Inter this month.

Furthermore, reports Sky Sport Italia, Chivu has lost another player due to injury.

Brazilian international wingback Carlos Augusto has suffered a muscle problem in training.

Therefore, the versatile former Monza wingback will not be able to participate in today’s match against Olympiacos.

It remains to be seen, however, whether Augusto will also be at risk for Inter’s Serie A opener against Torino.
