Agents have reportedly offered Inter Milan a chance to sign the unsettled Al-Nassr goalkeeper Bento.
According to Calciomercato via FCInterNews, the 26-year-old has ‘regretted’ joining the Saudi Pro League club last summer.
Bento was a genuine target for Inter in 2024.
However, Athletico Paranaense’s €20 million asking price deterred Beppa Marotta from sending an official offer.
Therefore, Al-Nassr swooped in and took the highly-rated stopper to Saudi Arabia.
Bento signed a four-year contract in Riyadh, yet he has already regretted his decision to join Al-Nassr.
As a result, he has instructed his representatives to find a way out.
Aware of Inter’s interest from a year ago, they’ve knocked on Marotta’s door, only to receive a negative answer.
Indeed, the Italian giants are no longer keen on the Brazilian star.
Inter signed Josep Martinez from Genoa last summer to be Yann Sommer’s backup option.
However, with the Swiss veteran set to leave the club at the end of the season, the Nerazzurri may soon need a new keeper.
As things stand, it won’t be Bento.
