Report – Club Brugge & Ecuador Center-Back Emerges As ‘Concrete’ Target For Inter Milan

Club Brugge center-back Joel Ordonez has reportedly become a concrete target for Serie A heavyweights Inter Milan.

According to Matteo Moretto via FCInter1908, the Italians are working in secrecy to secure the 21-year-old’s arrival.

Joel Ordonez has emerged as one of the most highly rated defenders in world football.

Indeed, the Ecuadorian starlet was close to leaving Belgium in the summer, with several Saudi Pro League clubs interested.

Furthermore, Olympique Marseille had tried to lure him to the Stade Veldrome, but to no avail.

After a failed transfer to Saudi Arabia, Ordonez could continue his career in Serie A.

Indeed, Inter have started working on his arrival behind the scene.

Though a January move remains on the cards, the Nerazzurri will more likely try to sign him next summer.

With the club set to part ways with Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij, Beppe Marotta must land at least one new defender.

Therefore, Inter could accelerate their pursuit of Ordonez at the end of the season.
