Report – Como Convinced Fabregas Stays – Inter Milan Eye Vieira & Chivu

Como seem unfazed by growing speculation linking Cesc Fabregas with a move to Inter Milan, who are also keen on Cristian Chivu.

Per Gianluca Di Marzio via FCInter1908, the Lakers remain ‘convinced’ of the Spaniard’s short-term future at Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

Cesc Fabregas is the leading candidate to take over the managerial reins at San Siro.

Indeed, Inter want the 38-year-old to replace Simone Inzaghi, who is on the verge of joining Al-Hilal.

Though talks between the Nerazzurri and Fabregas are underway, Como chiefs believe he’ll stay.

Inter have already established contact with the Spanish manager.

Despite his initial desire to stay for at least one more season, Fabregas is now second-guessing his choice.

Indeed, Inter’s offer has tempted the Barcelona academy graduate.

However, if the deal falls through, the Nerazzurri may turn to Cristian Chivu.

After coaching the Primavera side, Chivu took over Parma in the second half of 2024/25 and helped them secure top-flight survival.

Furthermore, Genoa’s Patrick Vieira is another solution, though it’s the least likely option.
