Former Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana is set to join Turkish side Trabzonspor from Manchester United.
This via FCInterNews. The Cameroonian will join the Turkish Super Lig team on loan after a couple of underwhelming seasons at Old Trafford.
Two years ago, goalkeeper Andre Onana joined Manchester United from Inter.
The Cameroonian had joined the Nerazzurri just twelve months prior. He made the move on a free transfer after his contract with Ajax had expired.
In Onana’s only season at Inter, he had a starring role particularly in the Champions League.
Inter were able to sell Onana for a massive capital gain considering that they had not paid a transfer fee for him in the summer of 2022.
Therefore, Onana joined Manchester United with massive expectations.
However, the former Ajax keeper was never able to reproduce his form from his one season at Inter in a United shirt.
Therefore, the Red Devils have been keen to offload Onana this summer.
There are not that many options for the 29-year-old at this point. The transfer window is close in most European leagues.
However, the window remains open in the Turkish Super Lig.
Therefore, Onana will join Turkish side Trabzonspor.
