Report – Inter Milan Earmark €25M For January Transfer Window

After making five new signings in the summer transfer window, Inter Milan could further reinforce their squad in January.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the San Siro giants have allocated substantial funds for the winter session.

Beppe Marotta had a busy summer.

Indeed, Ange-Yoan Bonny, Andy Diouf, Manuel Akanji, and Petar Sucic joined the club during the last transfer window.

Furthermore, Inter Milan brought Francesco Pio Esposito back after a superb loan spell at Spezia.

Last season’s Serie A runners-up will reportedly spend between €20-25 million on new signings this winter.

However, the Nerazzurri must decide where to invest.

Attack is no longer a priority for the club after Bonny and Esposito made promising starts this season.

Despite Diouf’s underwhelming start in Serie A, Cristian Chivu has seven midfielders at his disposal.

Therefore, it’s hard to expect Inter to add to their midfield options.

Meanwhile, they could strengthen their backline, with Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij expected to leave at the end of the season.
