Inter Milan have not received any official offers for midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu despite reported interest from Galatasaray.
This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Inter would want €35-40 million for the Turkish international.
Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has been at the centre of some transfer rumours recently.
Reportedly, big clubs in the Saudi Pro League are eyeing up a move for the Turkish international.
Meanwhile, this week reports emerged from Turkey that Istanbul giants Galatasaray have made Calhanoglu a major target.
There is little doubt that the interest in Calhanoglu is there.
However, reports the Gazzetta, Inter Milan have not yet received any official bids for the former AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder.
Should any bids arrive, the Gazzetta report that Inter have a clear idea of the fee they’d want for Calhanoglu.
The newspaper report that the Nerazzurri want somewhere in the region of €35-40 million for Calhanoglu.
That would be less than Inter were reportedly holding out for last summer when Bayern Munich had shown an interest in Calhanoglu.
However, the player’s age is certainly a factor. As are his injuries over the last twelve months.
