Inter Milan have reportedly inquired about the availability of Chelsea and Brazil midfielder Andrey Santos.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, via FCInterNews. They report that the 21-year-old came up in a meeting with Giuliano Bertolucci, though the price tag would make a move unlikely.
Inter Milan held a number of meetings with agents and intermediaries yesterday. It was a busy day with the transfer window now right at its peak.
And according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, one of the agents at the Nerazzurri’s headquarters was Giuliano Bertolucci.
According to SportItalia, one of the players who Bertolucci represents that Inter made an inquiry about is Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos.
The Brazilian spent last season on loan with Strasbourg in Ligue 1.
And Inter are keeping tabs on Santos. Particularly considering his age, the 21-year-old is a player the Nerazzurri see as a prospect for the future.
However, SportItalia caution, Bertolucci indicated to Inter that Chelsea are in no rush to sell Santos this summer. Therefore, the price tag for the Brazilian would be high.
Furthermore, Inter are already very well-stocked in midfield. If anything, their plan would be to offload a midfielder, with Kristjan Asllani reportedly heading for the exit door.
