Inter Milan are reportedly on the verge of a deal for Parma striker Ange-Yoan Bonny, and also negotiating for defender Giovanni Leoni.
This according to today’s print edition of Parma-based newspaper Gazzetta di Parma, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have just appointed Cristian Chivu as their new coach. The Romanian joins the Nerazzurri after guiding Parma to Serie A survival in the spring.
And Chivu’s experience at Parma has not just proven him as a coach at senior level in the eyes of Inter.
The 44-year-old could also bring some notable transfer targets with him.
Reportedly, Ange-Yoan Bonny is a player who Chivu has pushed to bring to Inter.
The 21-year-old had already been on Inters’ radar prior to their decision of new coach. However, since Chivu came in they have pushed particularly strongly for him.
According to the Gazzetta di Parma, it is almost a done deal. Inter should soon conclude talks and sign Bonny.
Meanwhile, reports the Gazzetta di Parma, Inter aree also in talks for Parma defender Giovanni Leoni.
However, the Nerazzurri face significant competition for the 18-year-old’s signature from city rivals AC Milan.
