Report – Inter Milan Set Timeline For France Superstar Return From Injury

Inter Milan cannot count on Marcus Thuram for tonight’s Champions League match against Royale Union SG.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the San Siro giants expect the Frenchman to return to action at the start of November.

Marcus Thuram has been on the sidelines since picking up a thigh injury against Slavia Prague in late September.

Therefore, he missed Inter’s Serie A wins over Cremonese and Roma on either side of the international break.

In addition to skipping today’s trip to Belgium, the 28-year-old will likely miss the upcoming Serie A classic.

Indeed, Cristian Chivu probably won’t have Ticus at his disposal for Saturday’s away game against Napoli.

As a result, either Ange-Yoan Bonny or Francesco Pio Esposito will partner up with Lautaro Martinez in attack at the Maradona Stadium.

Meanwhile, Thuram continues to work on his recovery, hoping to rejoin the squad at the beginning of next month.

He could make his highly-awaited return from injury for Inter’s away league clash against Hellas Verona on November 2.
