Inter Milan midfielder Kristjan Asllani is reportedly among the names on Bologna’s shortlist of targets in central areas.

This according to the Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews. They report that Kristian Thorstvedt is the Rossoblu’s top target, but that Asllani, Salvatore Esposito, and Fabio Miretti are also targets.

Kristjan Asllani has come to the end of his third season as an Inter player.

The Albanian joined the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2022 from Empoli.

Whilst Inter had high expectations for Asllani when they signed him, the young midfielder has never quite managed to live up to them.

Asllani has had some positive moments in an Inter shirt. However, crucially, he has never looked like he can inherit a starting spot in holding midfield.

Inter Midfielder Kristjan Asllani On Bologna Shortlist

For this reason, it still looks quite possible that Inter could move Kristjan Asllani on this summer.

And considering the former Empoli midfielder’s age, there is no shortage of transfer interest.

The likes of Fiorentina, Bournemouth, and Real Betis have all shown an interest in signing Asllani.

And according to the Corriere dello Sport, another club have joined the race for the Albanian.

They report that Bologna are looking to bolster their midfield.

Bologna’s top target would be Sassuolo midfielder Kristian Thorstvedt, reports the Corriere. However, they are also monitoring other targets.

One of these would be Inter Milan’s Kristjan Asllani. Then, the likes of Spezia midfielder Salvatore Esposito and Juventus midfielder Fabio Miretti are also among their targets.
