Inter Milan have identified Roberto De Zerbi and Cesc Fabregas as the top two candidates to replace Simone Inzaghi.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, either De Zerbi or Fabregas will take the 49-year-old’s job next season.

It’s official – Simone Inzaghi has decided to cut short his four-year stay at San Siro.

Indeed, the ex-Lazio boss will join Saudi Pro League powerhouse Al-Hilal on a multi-year contract.

Therefore, there will be a vacancy in the dugout, with Inter vying for two names to fill the void.

Inter Milan Set Sights on Roberto De Zerbi & Cesc Fabregas to Replace Simone Inzaghi

Despite Inter’s interest, Roberto De Zerbi recently reiterated his desire to stay at Marseille.

The former Sasuolo manager joined the French outfit last summer and helped them return to the Champions League.

Therefore, convincing him to leave could prove rather tricky.

On the other hand, Cesc Fabregas would be open to swapping Como for Inter this summer.

Indeed, he has already turned down approaches from Roma and Bayer Leverkusen.

However, he may not stay immune to Nerazzurri’s call.
