Report – Inter Milan Turn To Rennes Talent After Roma Slam Koné Door Shut

Rennes midfielder Djaoui Cisse has reportedly emerged as a potential transfer target for Inter Milan.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInterNews, the Nerazzurri have turned their attention toward the 21-year-old.

Inter had hoped to sign Roma star Manu Kane.

However, the Giallorossi have taken the French midfielder off the market, inflicting a massive blow on the San Siro giants.

Therefore, Cristian Chivu’s men are scouring the market for reinforcements.

Inter Milan Set Sights on Rennes Talent Djaoui Cisse

With Kone out of reach, Inter could try to sign Cisse from Rennes.

Indeed, the young Frenchman is a perfect prototype of a modern-day midfielder.

In addition to his decent technical and playmaking skills, he’s equally well-versed in recovering possession.

Furthermore, his versatility allows him to cover a multitude of positions in the engine room.

Cisse made only 14 Ligue 1 appearances last season. However, he has established himself as a regular starter at France’s U23 team.

In doing so, he has become one of Europe’s most sought-after prospects, with ‘half of the continent’ pursuing his signature.
