Inter Milan want a forward with “dribbling” quality, and are eyeing up Lyon’s Malick Fofana for the January transfer window.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInter1908.

Inter Milan have four forwards in their squad. Aside from Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram, the Nerazzurri signed Ange-Yoan Bonny and also brought Francesco Pio Esposito into the first team setup.

However, neither of these two signings have necessarily addressed a longstanding issue in Inter’s squad.

That is the lack of real trickery and technical ability to regularly beat defenders in one-on-one situations.

Inter Want A “Dribbler” – Malick Fofana A Target

According to SportMediaset, Inter do still want to sign a player with dribbling proficiency.

The Nerazzurri had reportedly even made an offer for Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye. However, the Toffees rebuffed this bid.

That followed Inter’s longstanding, and high profile, pursuit of Ademola Lookman.

That soap opera ended with Inter emptyhanded, as Atlanta refused to sell the 27-year-old.

However, Mediaset report, Inter could still address the lack of a “dribbler” in the squad in January.

The broadcaster anticipate that Lyon winger Malick Fofana is a target who Inter want to go after.
