Midfielder Piotr Zielinski and defender Benjamin Pavard are reportedly both set to stay at Inter Milan this summer.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan have been considering trimming the squa d in the last couple weeks of the transfer window.
And there are two players in particular who have looked like possible exits.
Firstly, midfielder Piotr Zielinski is not a player Inter would work too hard to keep hold of. The 31-year-old signed just last summer, but failed to meet expectations.
Meanwhile, Benjamin Pavard has come to the end of his second season at Inter. The Frenchman has been an important player for the Nerazzurri.
However, Pavard has suffered a series of injuries that have restricted his impact.
According to Tuttosport, however, both Zielinski and Pavard will stay at Inter.
In the case of Zielinski, the Polish international has not received any convincing offer.
Therefore, the Nerazzurri will not push the player out the door.
Meanwhile, Tuttosport reports, defender Pavard is also a player who will stay at Inter.
The newspaper anticipate that the Frenchman will remain – even if the Nerazzurri are to sign another defender.
