Roma and Manchester United have reportedly agreed basic terms for the transfer of Jadon Sancho for €19m plus €5m add-ons, but the player is still holding out.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the two clubs are in full agreement and eager to get the deal pushed through as quickly as possible.
Manchester United know that Sancho is running down his contract after the Chelsea loan ex perience and they cannot afford to lose him for free next summer.
At the same time, Roma will give Leon Bailey his medical tests tomorrow after he landed from Aston Villa, so they are in a rush to complete their attack before the start of the Serie A season.
The problem remains that Sancho is unwilling to take a cut on his massive wages, which are simply unaffordable for the Giallorossi.
He is also reticent to accept other proposals from Besiktas, perhaps still holding out in the hope that Juventus will come back in for him, but everyone is running out of patience in this situation.
