Sir David Beckham continues to oversee another busy transfer window at Inter Miami as the MLS side looks to strengthen its squad for the future.
The Manchester United legend has played a central role in the club’s growth since helping establish the franchise, with Miami continuing to attract both established stars and exciting young talent.
The club also looks set to welcome another familiar face from Old Trafford, with former United midfielder Casemiro reportedly closing in on a move to South Florida.
Now, Beckham’s side have confirmed another addition.
Inter Miami have officially announced the signing of Ecuadorian defender Fricio Caicedo on their website.
Fricio Caicedo arrives on loan from Costa Rican outfit FC Moravia FCM until the end of the 2027 MLS Sprint Season.
The youngster will occupy a U22 Initiative roster spot once he receives his P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate.
After completing the move, Caicedo explained why joining Inter Miami was an opportunity he could not pass up.
“My goals are to play, earn minutes, become a starter, and win many trophies.
“I came to Miami because my dream was to play alongside Messi, who is without a doubt the best player in the world. I’m here to make history and show what I can do.”
Although still at the beginning of his professional career, the defender has already gained valuable experience on the international stage.
Caicedo has represented Ecuador at youth level before earning a senior call-up under head coach Sebastian Beccacece during preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
He marked his senior international debut by coming off the bench in Ecuador’s 2-1 victory over Saudi Arabia.
The latest arrival reflects Inter Miami’s continued strategy of combining elite experience with emerging talent as Beckham continues shaping the club’s future.
