Sky Sports UK reports that Napoli have sent a €30m bid for Brighton midfielder Matt O’Riley.

Report Napoli send opening O’Riley offer

According to Sky Sports UK, talks between the clubs are ongoing regarding the package Brighton would want.

Brighton reportedly see O’Riley as an important part of their project, but have not turned down Napoli’s approach.

O’Riley already linked with Serie A move

Sky Sport Italia said the Partenopei did not confirm the news, although the O’Riley situation must be monitored.

The Denmark international had previously been linked with a move to Serie A, especially at Atalanta and Roma.

La Dea were linked with the ex-Celtic star last summer, before O’Riley joined Brighton.

Atalanta’s ex-coach Gian Piero Gasperini, however, remains an admirer of the 24-year-old, and according to Gazzetta, his Roma side initiated talks with Brighton last week.
