Spain beat France 2-0 in Seville on Wednesday to win the first ever edition of the UEFA Women's Nations League.
Ballon d'Or winner Aitana Bonmati fired Spain in front in the 32nd minute before Mariona Caldentey found the net early in the second half.
France were thoroughly outplayed and failed to register a single shot on target.
Spain - who won the FIFA Women's World Cup last year - had never previously beaten France in a senior women's international.

Wednesday's final, which was played in front of 32,657 fans, took place five days after Spain had beaten the Netherlands 3-0 in the semis.
Bonmati, who also scored against the Netherlands, was voted as the MVP of the Finals tournament.
The Netherlands will play Germany in the third place play-off later on Wednesday, with the winner of that game joining Spain and France at this summer's women's soccer event at the 2024 Olympic Games.
