Carlos Alcaraz in winning the French Open again has a decision to make when it comes to his Wimbledon preparation and according to Juan Carlos Ferrero, he likely will play Queen's but isn't 100% sure.

Alcaraz last year partied in Ibiza after he won in Paris but with it likely being his only lead-up tournament before Wimbledon, he is presumably going to play.

The Spaniard lost to Jack Draper last year which was perceived as a shock at the time. But in reality, Draper became a conquering force in the end and is now a top five player.

But he still went on to win Wimbledon, Ferrero wants to keep the momentum going especially in his burgeoning rivalry with Jannik Sinner and believes that likely he will play the tournament but that he isn't 100%.

Albeit it is a plan that was discussed mid way through the French Open admitted Ferrero.

"The plan is to play, but we'll make a final decision in a few days. We talked about it mid-tournament, and Carlos told us he was looking forward to going. After these days of rest, on Thursday or Friday, we'll do a test to see how he feels physically and mentally. We're going to Wimbledon with great enthusiasm; Carlos loves playing there".
