Milan are ready to send Theo Hernandez to Al-Hilal for €35m, but the French defender is reportedly in talks with Atletico Madrid as he’s unwilling to move to the Saudi Pro League.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Milan defender Theo Hernandez is in talks with La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.
Milan have not yet received a formal proposal from the Spanish club but have already accepted a €35m offer from Simone Inzaghi’s Al-Hilal.
Theo, however, seems unwilling to move to the Saudi Pro League and has prioritised staying in Europe.
Al-Hilal have been in talks with several Serie A left-backs.
Football Italia reported on Monday that the Saudi side had reached an agreement with Roma for Angelino, although they still hope to convince Theo.
Theo Hernandez’s contract with Milan expires in June 2026, and according to several Italian sources, the Rossoneri are unwilling to offer him a pay rise following a poor 2024-25 campaign.
