Milan defender Theo Hernandez is on the verge of moving to Al-Hilal.

Theo Hernandez set to join Al-Hilal

The France international had already reached an agreement with the Saudi Pro League giants weeks ago, and the two parties were waiting for the end of the Club World Cup to finalise the transfer.

Milan demanded €30m for the 27-year-old, a fee that could be supplemented with add-ons.

Milan failed to agree on Theo Hernandez contract extension

The Rossoneri are eager to sell the French defender after failing to agree on a contract extension beyond 2026.

Theo is still formally under contract with the Rossoneri, but he’s not part of the squad that starts the pre-season under new coach Massimiliano Allegri today.

Theo joined Milan in a €22m deal from Real Madrid in the summer of 2019.

He scored 34 goals and provided 45 assists in 262 appearances with the Rossoneri, winning one Serie A title and one Supercoppa Italiana.
