England manager Thomas Tuchel revealed Jude Bellingham has chances to become England's permanent captain one day. During their win against Czech Republic on Tuesday, Bellingham became the third-youngest captain for England in their history when he came on against the Czech Republic during their 2-0 win. He only played a few minutes in the second half, but he did wear the captain's armband, and it was brilliant to see such a young player already wearing a coveted piece of history and honor in English football.

When asked about a permanent captaincy role, Tuchel said, "Yes, if he was a captain against the Czech Republic, he can be a permanent captain." These are the things that really make you understand who knows the most about football in the industry. Tuchel has always been one of the great minds in football, but the fact that he's understood just how big of a leader Bellingham is at such a young age shows that he is far ahead of the curve than most people think.

Jude Bellingham is Real Madrid's captain despite not wearing the armband

Bellingham has not been the captain of Real Madrid in any of his seasons so far at the club, but he has always been the most vocal leader that the team has had since losing Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. Obviously, there is another leader at Real Madrid in the name of Thibaut Courtois, but in terms of outfield players, Bellingham is the most outspoken player with the most leadership qualities that one could have.

He is one of those players who leads by example but also helps his teammates when they are feeling underconfident. If there is one player that Tuchel could get in to become a permanent captain in the future, it is definitely Bellingham, because he's just been a brilliant player with the ball, without the ball, as well as with his words and with his leadership, with the instances that show the leadership qualities that he has.

It is amazing for a player as young as Bellingham to already be this mature, and it is a brilliant thing for Tuchel to realise that, and hopefully, at one point, Real Madrid will finally let go of this hierarchy model to pick their captains and just pick the best leader of the bunch. Whenever that happens, if that ever happens, Bellingham will be the player they look at before anyone else.
