Thomas Frank 5 Tactically, Tottenham were blown by the wind, and we had far too many players phoning it in. This coach has shown he’s good, but desperately needs to stop shooting himself in the foot, with poor decisions.
Giuliano Vicario 3 Struggled, arguably at fault for both Brighton goals. Always looking to apportion blame.
Pedro Porro 4 Another tough day at the office. Just one accurate cross from 15 attempts.
Cristian Romero 7 Plenty to be pleased with after a shaky start. A 95% passing accuracy, for one, and he stepped into midfield to win possession in the second half.
Mikey van de Ven 7 A 99% passing accuracy. Quiet but effective in the second half, sticking to defensive basics and covering for his teammates.
Destiny Udogie 6 A decent 89% passing accuracy, stopped multiple breaks, and pushed forward effectively, though his final ball needed greater work today.
Lucas Bergvall 6 failed to shine and struggled to get a grip of the midfield. Gave the ball away in a dangerous area that led to Brighton’s second goal. Lacked impact and was substituted late.
Joao Palhinha 6 Another understated performance, but he gave the ball away cheaply on occasion, despite an 89% passing accuracy.
Rodrigo Bentancur An impressive 89% passing accuracy, but what was his exact role, again?
Mohammed Kudus 8 Certainly MOTM, but the competition was nonexistent.
Richarlison 4 A great goal, but lost possession all too frequently, and we were treated to a series of face pulling instead of anything approaching what one might hope from a Brazilian centre forward.
Wilson Odobert 4 Another waste of a shirt. Lost the ball a dozen times.
Xavi Simons 6 This was too little too late, plays the 10 role very role. No more on the left wing, please, Frank. Why didn’t he start?
Brennan Johnson 5 Just not the required standard. A lightweight.
Archie Gray 4 would have given the Invisible Man a run for his money.
