Tottenham Hotspur are prepared to sanction the sale of Son Heung-min this summer if a lucrative proposal is presented.

According to Football Insider, Thomas Frank is expected to take over as the club’s new manager, and he wants to keep the 32-year-old at the club beyond this summer. However, Tottenham will go against his wishes and sanction the departure of the South Korean if a “very lucrative” offer is presented.

Son Heung-min to be sold?

He has been linked with Saudi Arabian clubs in recent weeks, and it remains any club is willing to come forward with an offer to sign him.

He has been a terrific performer for Tottenham over the years, but he is entering the twilight stages of his career. It would not be a surprise if Tottenham decided to cash in on him. They are looking to build a team for the future, and they should look to replace him while he is still performing at a high level.

It remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Tottenham need to rebuild their squad

Tottenham managed to win the UEFA Europa League last season, and they have secured Champions League qualification for the next season. They will look to do well in the Premier League next season. They finished 17th in the league table last year, and Thomas Frank will be expected to get them back on track. He will need quality signings this summer, and he will hope to hold onto his best players as well.

Despite his age and recent inconsistencies, the 32-year-old South Korean is one of the best players at the club. His experience and leadership qualities are invaluable as well. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Tottenham will need to get their transfer business right this summer if they want to bounce back strongly next year.
