Dominic Solanke limped off after Tottenham's match against Manchester City on Sunday, February one. Nothing serious, according to the player himself.
Solanke, 28, was questioned about his physical condition after the game, and the English forward responded that he is okay.
"Yeah, I should be all good. Rolled my ankle a little bit but should be fine," he said. The striker scored a brace for Spurs against Manchester City, which allowed his team to draw.
Therefore, it appears to be nothing serious, and the player should be fit and available for Spurs' upcoming fixtures.
Pep Guardiola's men had a 2-0 lead, but Solanke changed the destiny of the match with two goals, including a stunning scorpion kick goal.
Rayan Cherki opened the scoring in the 11th minute, while new signing Antoine Semenyo scored in the 44th. Solanke's goals came in the 53rd and 70th minutes.
The most striking goal from the English striker was the second, as it was a scorpion kick. Skilfully meeting a chest-high cross from the right by Gallagher, Solanke managed to contrive a brilliant flicked finish that looped over Donnarumma and into the top-left corner.
According to FotMob, Solanke was the man of the match with a rating of 8.8.
The former Bournemouth forward generated one big chance, completed five of eight passes, recorded five defensive contributions, 25 touches, one pass into the final third, one tackle, two clearances, and two recoveries.
Tottenham will have to return to a competitive rhythm quickly, as in six days, next Saturday, they visit in-form Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Just three days later, they will host Newcastle United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for matchweek 27 of the Premier League.
