Tottenham make contact to sign 20-goal star who looks like scoring in every game

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to improve their attacking unit with the signing of Bryan Mbeumo this summer.

The 25-year-old is a target for Manchester United as well, and a report from CaughtOffside claims that Tottenham will look to beat them to his signature. They have already made contact to sign the player, and it remains to be seen whether they follow up with an official proposal.

Bryan Mbeumo is an excellent player

Mbeumo had 20 goals and nine assists to his name last season. He could be an excellent acquisition for Tottenham, and he will certainly add some much-needed cutting edge and unpredictability to their attacking unit.

Former Premier League striker Troy Deeney has previously claimed that Mbeumo looks like scoring every game for Brentford. Tottenham certainly need a reliable goalscorer like him.

It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal across the line. It will be an expensive acquisition, and the player is likely to command substantial wages as well. However, they need players of his quality if they want to win major trophies.

Can Thomas Frank help seal the deal?

Tottenham are also looking to bring Thomas Frank as their new manager, and it will be interesting to see if he can help get a deal for Mbeumo across the line. He knows the player well, and he helped bring out the best in the 25-year-old. Reuniting with the manager could be an attractive option for the attacker.

Manchester United are one of the biggest clubs in the world, but they are going through a period of rebuilding. In addition to that, they will not be able to offer him. European football next season. Tottenham are going through a similar phase, but they have secured Champions League qualification for the next season. It will not be a surprise if they manage to convince the player to join them instead.
