Thomas Frank is on thin ice following Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to West Ham United on Saturday.
Some Spurs supporters have already seen enough. The mood became increasingly frustrated as the club put in a dismal performance against their London rivals.
Sections of the home support chanted “you’re getting sacked in the morning” during the match, and loud boos followed the final whistle.
Following the defeat, Tottenham sits 14th in the Premier League table after collecting 27 points through 22 matches played.
Next up for Spurs is a UEFA Champions League meeting with Dortmund at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Tuesday. Their next league match will be a visit to Turf Moor to face Burnley on January 24.
Frank has remained upbeat despite recent poor results.
"If we're winning, it will change [the reaction of the fans] and we will," Frank told reporters following Saturday's match. "I still think we are closer [to turning things around] than further away."
Home supporters, social media posters and radio shows have lost faith in Frank, and his position is under increasing scrutiny. He will need to engineer a turnaround to get supporters back on his side and save his job.
