Reports in Italy and Turkey confirm that Trabzonspor are ‘hard at work’ to find an agreement for Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer before the close of the Turkish transfer window.

Trabzonspor seeking deal for Milan’s Bennacer

The Serie A summer transfer window ended on Monday evening, but clubs are still able to sell players to clubs whose transfer windows remain open. The transfer deadline in Turkey, for example, will fall on September 12.

That means that there could potentially still be some outgoing Serie A deals completed in the coming days.

Bennacer is one of those players who could leave Serie A, with reports from the likes of Calciomercato.com, Matteo Moretto and Turkish outlet Fanatik suggesting that Trabzonspor are ‘hard at work’ in an attempt to sign the Algeria international from the Rossoneri.

According to Wednesday’s updates, Milan will not stand in Bennacer’s way if an appropriate offer comes in. He is not considered part of Massimiliano’s plans given that he already has Luka Modric, Ardon Jashasri, Samuele Ricci, Youssouf Fofana and Ruben Loftus-Cheek at his disposal.

That means that Trabzonspor are left seeking an agreement on the player side of the operation.

As things stand, Bennacer has not yet given any indications either way over a potential move to the Turkish Super Lig.
