Manchester United have already strengthened several areas of Michael Carrick’s squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans have arrived to reinforce the midfield.

Tynan Thompson joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur to provide added depth to that left flank.

Karl Darlow and Kit Margetson have also joined the club’s goalkeeping department.

However, United know they must also balance the books before the transfer window closes.

Earlier this summer, reports claimed the club were prepared to sell Manuel Ugarte after a difficult two seasons at Old Trafford.

Those plans were complication after the midfielder suffered an ACL injury while representing Uruguay against Spain at the 2026 World Cup.

United have also shown they are willing to listen to offers for young talent.

For instance, Harry Amass has reportedly attracted a £6 million valuation despite impressing during the pre-season win over Rosenborg.

Meanwhile, another United midfielder has now completed an official move away from the club.

United midfielder officially joins TTM

TTM Football have officially announced the signing of Jacey Carrick.

TTM Football is the football division of Tongue Tied Management, a UK-based sports management agency that represents professional football players, coaches and managers.

The announcement came through the agency’s official Instagram account.

They welcomed Carrick after he signed his scholarship with Manchester United.

The midfielder is the son of Manchester United head coach Michael Carrick.

He has developed through the club’s academy and is regarded as another promising young talent in United’s youth system.

TTM wrote: “Welcome to the TTM family, Jacey Carrick.”

The agency also confirmed that it had assisted the 16-year-old in completing his United scholarship.

Its statement added that it is excited to see what the future holds for the young midfielder as his development continues.

Scholarship agreements mark an important stage for academy players because they allow them to continue their progression towards professional football.

Jacey will now look to impress at academy level as he follows in the footsteps of his father, who enjoyed a successful playing career at Old Trafford before becoming the club’s head coach.
