Tottenham Hotspur continues to be linked with Jacob Ramsey from Aston Villa, and they could look to get the deal done this summer.

According to former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson, the player is high on Thomas Frank’s transfer wishlist. Robinson believes that the player could be available for a reasonable amount of money. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Thomas Frank keen on Aston Villa ace

“For Aston Villa, it would be pure profit because he’s an academy product,” he told Football Insider.

“He’s got this season and next season left on his contract, so the fee would probably be appealing to Aston Villa, but it wouldn’t be as high as Tottenham are expecting.

“Jacob Ramsey is certainly high on Thomas Frank’s list.

“He’s the type of player who would be a good addition to the starting XI and squad going forward.”

Jacob Ramsey would be a useful addition

The 24-year-old English midfielder is capable of operating centrally as well as in the wide areas. He will add creativity, drive, technical ability, and goals to the side. He has struggled for regular gametime at Aston Villa, and a move away from the West Midlands club could be ideal for him. He will look to get his career back on track with ample opportunities. Tottenham might be able to provide him with more chances.

They need more quality and depth in the middle of the park, and the 24-year-old is already well settled in English football. He could make an instant impact. He is a tremendous talent with a bright future, and signing him for a reasonable amount of money this summer could prove to be a masterstroke in the long run.

His ability to slot into multiple midfield roles will be a bonus. There is no doubt that he has the quality to play for the biggest clubs in the country. The move to Tottenham could unlock his true potential. Thomas Frank is a quality manager, and the Danish boss might be able to bring out the best in the player.
