A light-hearted moment unfolded at Wimbledon during the quarterfinal match between Novak Djokovic and Flavio Cobolli . The incident took place on Wednesday at Centre Court, drawing attention from fans and media alike.
Hollywood actor Hugh Grant , who was seated in the prestigious Royal Box, was spotted dozing off during the match. Known for his love of tennis, the moment caught viewers by surprise.

This nap came despite a strong performance from both players. The opening set featured high-quality rallies and intense exchanges from the baseline. Cobolli, in particular, stood out with his aggressive and energetic play. He managed to outshine Djokovic in the first set, delivering a bold and confident display on the grass.
Queen Camilla returned to Wimbledon on Wednesday to watch the quarterfinal matches, a year after taking part in “the wave” with fans on No. 1 Court. She arrived in the morning and spent time with Debbie Jevans, chair of the All England Club, before the day’s matches began.
Camilla later took a seat at Centre Court, where she watched Belinda Bencic, who was unseeded, defeat seventh-seeded Mirra Andreeva in two tiebreak sets. British actor Hugh Grant was also in attendance, seated in the Royal Box.
Before the matches, Camilla met several staff members and players, including Novak Djokovic, who has won Wimbledon seven times. She also spoke with Will Brierley, the lead groundsperson, and Robin Murphy, the head gardener, along with a ball boy and ball girl.
In other action, eighth seed Iga Swiatek won against nineteenth seed Liudmila Samsonova in straight sets. On the men’s side, top seed Jannik Sinner is playing Ben Shelton, while sixth seed Novak Djokovic takes on Flavio Cobolli.
Flavio Cobolli, now 23, has reached his first Grand Slam quarterfinal at Wimbledon, showing impressive form in recent months. Once a promising footballer, he has proven that tennis was the right path, standing out as one of the ATP Tour’s rising stars.
Born in Florence and raised near Rome in Subiaco, Cobolli was drawn to both football and tennis as a child. His father, Stefano Cobolli, was a former pro who reached world No. 236 and now coaches him. Though he began playing tennis at age two, he spent more time on football, training four times a week in the AS Roma academy.
Cobolli played as a right-back and shared the pitch with players like Riccardo Calafiori. But at age 14, he made the choice to pursue tennis professionally, following in his father’s footsteps. Since then, he has achieved notable success, including winning the boys’ doubles title at the 2020 French Open and reaching his first ATP final in 2024.
The start of 2025 was difficult, with eight consecutive losses following two early wins at the United Cup. By April, his ranking had dropped to 45th. However, at the Bucharest Open, he ended the slump by beating Richard Gasquet and went on to defeat several top players, including Sebastian Baez, to claim his first ATP Tour title.
