Both teams are keen to get going at the start of the Championship season on Sunday, August 23, at The Hawthorns, where Burnley are coming off a poor start to their campaign.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 12 p.m. BST, or 7 a.m. ET and 4:30 p.m. IST. It is one of the highlights of the Championship weekend and will be live in the UK.
West Brom come into the fray after defeating Norwich City 2-1 in their first Championship match. Aune Heggebo is, however, unable to feature in Burnley’s match as he has been suspended from the FA for two games for his controversial handball goal against Norwich.
Burnley started their campaign with a 2-2 draw against West Ham United. Nicky Hayen’s team has been a lot different since the club was relegated from the Premier League, with new players bringing depth.
West Brom’s predicted lineup: O’Leary; Phillips, Mepham, Galvez, Styles; Campbell, Price; Myhre, Maghoma, Morgan; Diakite.
Burnley’s predicted lineup: Dubravka; Roberts, Al-Dakhil, Esteve, Hartman; Cullen, Berge; Koleosho, Brownhill, Anthony; Foster.
Availability may differ between regions and from subscription to subscription, so supporters should check their local listings before kick-off.
The meeting is an early chance for both sides to make a statement on their promotion credentials as West Brom sit third after the opening round, while Burnley are 11th.
