The Times are reporting that the Hammers are now thinking about making a move to sign the English goalkeeper after the Saints’ relegation to the Championship was confirmed following their 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend. It’s claimed that the 26-year-old goalkeeper aims to leave Southampton after having only joined them in 2024, as he wants to keep playing in the Premier League to retain his place in the England squad.

It’s also added that Ramsdale could be allowed to leave Southampton for a fee of around £20 million and the Hammers are thinking about the possibility of signing him for that amount.
