When and where to watch Europa League games Nice vs. Roma, Aston Villa vs. Bologna

The Europa League starts this week with some unusual dates and kick-off times, so here is a guide to watching Nice-Roma and Aston Villa-Bologna.

The Champions League kicked off last week and unusually covered Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

There is the Coppa Italia Second Round over the next few days, but also the Europa League gets going with the league phase format confirmed from last season.

Only two Serie A sides are in the tournament this year, as Roma qualified by finishing fifth in the league, while Bologna won the Coppa Italia to secure their spot.

Europa League Matchday 1 fixtures

Roma begin their campaign with a visit to OGC Nice on Wednesday at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

As for Bologna, they are in Birmingham to take on Aston Villa on Thursday at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

You can watch these fixtures on TNT Sports in the UK, or Paramount+ and TUDN in the USA, while DAZN has the rights in Canada.

Fiorentina are in the Conference League for the fourth season in a row and their tournament kicks off next week.
