Gallery: Jaws Flexes Under the Radar

As a slumbering dog woken up for a walk, things go from quiet to frantic in a hurry at Jaws. Seemingly out of nowhere, Peahi pulsed under the radar on January 11, and only a handful of dedicated crew got on it. Without much pretext, the swell delivered proper highlights.

Kai Lenny was, as usual, everywhere and once. Towing and flipping off the left. Paddling into the right. His GoPro clips are making the rounds. Katie McConnell surfed from sunup to sundown, paddling into both lefts and rights. Izzi Gomez towed and stroked into two of the biggest waves of the day. All in all, Sunday checked a lot of boxes.
