Alexander Zverev had a great comment after losing to Taylor Fritz in the finals of the Boss Open in Stuttgart, Germany, on Sunday.
Fritz beat Zverev 6-3, 7-6 (0) to win the event for his first title of the year. Fritz has also won five matches in a row against Zverev and is 8-5 against him head-to-head. This was also Fritz’s fourth title on grass courts, which is a surface on which Zverev has yet to win an event.
After finishing as the runner-up in the tournament, Zverev gave a speech in which he made his great comment.
“Taylor, I’m f—ing tired of you. I don’t wanna see you again over the next two, three years. Please stay away from me. Don’t come to Germany anymore,” Zverev joked.

His reasoning is understandable considering he’s lost five times in a row to Fritz.
The two players are getting prepared for Wimbledon, which is played on grass and begins on June 30 and runs for two weeks. Zverev has never advanced past the fourth round at the All England Club.
Fritz is set to become the No. 4-ranked player in the world. He has reached the quarterfinals at Wimbledon twice.
