The comparisons between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz seem to extend beyond the court. In a recent press conference at the Queen’s Club Championships, the World No. 2 was asked whether he could imagine himself collaborating with an artist or releasing a song, akin to the World No. 1, who has recently collaborated with an opera singer.
Sinner collaborated with maestro Andrea Bocelli for a song titled ‘Polvere e Gloria’ (Dust and Glory), which was released on 20th June. While the song is sung in Italian by Bocelli, Sinner makes an appearance throughout the video and shares some valuable words in English.
Snippets of Sinner’s childhood days and skiing days can also be seen throughout the video. Fans were also quick to notice a childhood photo of Sinner with a fox plushie, the animal that later became his symbol. Alcaraz, however, for the meantime, would like to stick to singing in the shower (via Queen’s Press):
I think I’m not ready yet. Let’s see in a couple of years. No, I mean, I just sing when I taking a shower, so I’m not ready to release any song, not in my mind… I sing when I’m alone, in shower, in my room. Depend on the mood of the day. I like to listen reggaeton pop, Spanish pop, English pop. So it depends on the mood of the day or the period of time. I don’t know, my feelings change, my mood change.
Alcaraz says he’s not ready to release a song with a singer like Jannik Sinner did with Andrea Bocelli, but he likes to sing in the shower, ‘Which singer do you want me to sing with? I think I'm not ready yet’

While singing in public might not be Alcaraz’s interest, starring on a couple of shows for Netflix certainly is. Alcaraz made appearances in both seasons of Netflix’s ‘Break Point’ docuseries and played against his idol Rafael Nadal in ‘The Netflix Slam’, a live-streamed tennis match. Two months ago, his Netflix special, ‘Carlos Alcaraz: My Way’ was released.
Carlos Alcaraz captured his 250th tour-level win in style Saturday in the semifinals of the Queen’s Club Championships. The Spaniard has returned to the Queen’s Club final after two years, with him winning the title in 2023.
Alcaraz is the third fastest man to reach 250 wins among tennis players that began their careers in the Open Era. John McEnroe and Rafael Nadal lead ahead of him in this category. After the Queen’s tournament, Alcaraz will be eyeing a three-peat at Wimbledon.
Carlos Alcaraz cruised past compatriot Roberto Bautista Agut in straight sets to reach his sixth final of the season and extend his winning streak to 17 matches. He has now reached the finals of all surfaces this year and is aiming to win a tournament on each surface for the third consecutive year.
Alcaraz will face Jiri Lehecka at the Queen’s Club finals. The Czech tennis player upset second seed and home favorite Jack Draper in the semifinals and has been displaying supreme grass-court tennis all week, having dropped serve on just one occasion.
The 23-year-old Lehecka will also be able to gain confidence from his most recent encounter with Alcaraz, which took place in Doha this year, where he upset the Spaniard in the quarter-finals to level their head-to-head to 1-1.
