Felix Auger-Aliassime's Fiancée Has People's Attention At US Open

For the first time since 2021, Felix Auger-Aliassime is back in the semifinals of a Grand Slam tournament.

Auger-Aliassime, who was once ranked No. 6 in the world, has been arguably the biggest surprise of the US Open. He has already knocked off Alexander Zverev, Andrey Rublev and Alex de Minaur en route to reaching the semifinals.

There's no question the 25-year-old Canadian has what it takes to play well on the hard court, it's just been a while since fans have seen him perform at this level.

"I didn't think about it much because, I think, it helps that I had those moments pretty young in my career. Okay, if I was 35 now, maybe I would doubt if it would ever come again, like if I was losing in the first round [at the] back end of my career," Auger-Aliassime said. "I think even those last few years I was young enough to [not] think... 'Will I be there?' But I wasn't even thinking about that far away. I was more, like, 'okay, what do I need to improve, what's happening, which areas do I need to improve, what changes do I need to make?' That's really what I was focused about and was kind of [thinking] more the day-to-day and the process."

While Auger-Aliassime continues to shine on the court, his fiancée appears to be turning heads off it.

Who is Felix Auger-Aliassime's fiancée?

Auger-Aliassime has been dating Nina Ghaibi since March 2019. She's an equestrian who has competed in a few marquee events, including the 2017 Morrocan Royal Tour.

In November 2024, Auger-Aliassime and Ghaibi announced their engagement on social media.

"Couldn’t have dreamt of a better forever," the two-time US Open semifinalist wrote.

Throughout this year's US Open, Auger-Aliassime's fiancée has gone viral a few times due to her outfits.

There were several moments during Auger-Aliassime's quarterfinal match where ESPN's camera crew shined the spotlight on Ghaibi.

If Auger-Aliassime wants to make the US Open final, he'll need to do something no one has been able to do over the past 12 months: defeat Jannik Sinner in New York.

Auger-Aliassime and Sinner actually met last month during the Cincinnati Masters. The No. 1 player in the world cruised to a 6-0, 6-2 victory.

The odds won't be in Auger-Aliassime's favor this Friday, that's for sure. His forehand will need to be firing on all cylinders for him to have a chance.
