
Aryna Sabalenka has made an enormous amount of prize money in the 2025 season.
Sabalenka ended the season as world number one for a second consecutive year, leading Iga Swiatek , Elena Rybakina and Coco Gauff.
The Belarusian has won four singles titles this year, highlighted by Sabalenka defending her US Open title.
Although she has won less major titles than she did in 2024, Sabalenka has actually earned more prize money in 2025.
Sabalenka has earned a huge $15,008,519 in on-court prize money this year, which is more than any other season before.
The world number one topped the prize money charts in 2024, and she has done so once again by an even greater margin.
Nearly a third of Sabalenka’s earnings this year have come from her US Open victory, where she walked away with $5million.
That was one of three Grand Slam finals Sabalenka played in 2025, having earned $1.2million and $1.4million from her runner-up finishes at the Australian Open and the French Open, respectively.
Sabalenka’s second biggest prize money earner this year came after she lost in the final of the WTA Finals to Rybakina, as she received a cheque of $2.6million in Riyadh.
The 27-year-old also received $1.1million for both of her WTA 1000 title victories in Miami and Madrid this year.
In comparison to the start of the decade, Sabalenka has earned more in 2025 than she did in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 combined.

Not only is this a record-breaking season for Sabalenka, it has also enabled her to break a 12-year record previously held by Serena Williams.
After winning 11 titles in 2013, Williams earned a huge $12,385,572, a figure which has stood as the highest amount of prize money until this year.
Sabalenka officially broke Williams’ record at the WTA Finals this year, after she beat Jasmine Paolini in her opening match.

This was the final tournament of another successful season for Sabalenka, with the four-time Grand Slam champion looking to add to her major tally in 2026.
Sabalenka will begin her 2026 season at the Brisbane International, the WTA 500 tournament she won last year.
However, before then, Sabalenka will play Nick Kyrgios in the Battle of the Sexes match which is taking place in Dubai.
