The WTA Libema Open continues to solidify its main draw with a new name added. The tournament, also known as 's-Hertogenbosch, will be held from June 9-15 and will feature exciting players looking to find their rhythm in the first week after the clay-court swing.
The traditional tournament, played in the women's category since 1996, has seen several luxurious champions, including Martina Hingis, Justine Henin, Kim Clijsters, and Simona Halep. This year, it will seek a new champion after Liudmila Samsonova's title win in 2024.
This time, world No. 38 Olga Danilović, 24 years old, has joined the field. The Serbian will be the fifth seed in a draw led by Russians Samsonova and Ekaterina Alexandrova. Additionally, there will be prominent names like former US Open champion Bianca Andreescu – a finalist in 2024 – and former No. 3 Maria Sakkari.
The Libema Open has finalized its 28-player draw, with qualifiers yet to be determined. Other favorites include Elise Mertens, Magda Linette, Danielle Collins, and Eva Lys.
