'Maybe she doesn't know anything..': Mirra Andreeva hilariously mocks coach Conchita Martinez after Madrid Open win

Mirra Andreeva opened her account at the Madrid Open on Thursday seeing off Marie Bouzkova in two tough sets 6-4, 6-4 to reach the third round where she now faces Magdalena Frech.

A lot has changed for the teenage prodigy since she first played at the tournament as a spritely 15-year-old as she is on the verge of turning 18 during the second week of the event.

She also has Conchita Martinez by her side who Andreeva mocked in her post match interview hilariously on court. Asked if she had been given any recommendations for Madrid itself and despite visiting three times, Andreeva was hilariously clueless.

She said that despite having Martinez by her side that it wasn't a cheat code for any recommendations and that she needs to ask her.

"Madrid is a pretty special place for me, this tournament itself as well," said Andreeva. "I'm just always excited to come back and play in front of you guys and honestly Conchita didn't tell me much about about the city."

"Maybe she doesn't know anything. I'm going to ask her later but honestly I don't know anything about Madrid I'm sorry," as she laughed off the question.

She then was prompted to share some expressions in Spanish and duly delivered for the crowd.

She will return to play Magdalena Frech in the third round aiming for a better week than Stuttgart where she fell to Ekaterina Alexandrova fairly early in the piece.
