Novak Djokovic appoints this tennis legend as new coach; someone you can never guess ⁩

Andy Murray , who retired this summer at the Paris Olympics, is set to work with his biggest rival in Melbourne next year. The former World No.1 will be joining Novak Djokovic’s coaching team as the Serbian looks to win his 25th Grand Slam title at the Australian Open.

This season Djokovic has failed to reach his 2023 expectations after ending the year without a tour-level title. He failed to defend the Australian Open in January 2024 after losing to eventual champion Jannik Sinner in the semifinals. Now, he is eager to bounce back in 2025 and hungry for success on the court again.

That has led the 37-year-old Serbian to add Murray to his coaching team ahead of the Australian Open. The tennis legend made history in 2013 after becoming the first British man to win the Wimbledon in 77 years.
